Anyve Arakelijan, EFAMA

Anyve Arakelijan has worked as Policy Advisor in EFAMA’s regulatory team since 2022 and is responsible for the work of its ESG & Stewardship Standing Committee, covering among others the Taxonomy Regulation, SFDR, fund naming guidelines and greenwashing. Previously, she was part of the compliance consulting practice for PwC Belgium, where she gained valuable experience in sustainable finance, and was also regularly engaged in risk and compliance reviews for major banks, insurance companies and payment institutions. Arakelijan holds an LLM in Corporate and Financial Law from the University of Leeds. She also attended the Free University of Brussels where she obtained a Master’s degree in Tax Law and a Master’s degree in Comparative Corporate and Financial Law. EFAMA, the European Fund and Asset Management Association, represents the interests of Europe’s €28.5 trillion investment management industry.
