Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has hired Evie Paterson as a portfolio manager and analyst on its global sustainable equity investment team. Paterson will help to manage the Lazard Global Sustainable Equity strategy – an actively managed portfolio investing in companies whose products and services aiming to support the transition to a more sustainable economy and drive increased financial productivity. “As active managers, we are committed to our role as stewards of our clients’ capital,” said Louis Florentin-Lee, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager on the Global Equities team at LAM. “Evie’s sustainability expertise will greatly enhance our team and bring long-term benefits to our clients.” Prior to joining LAM, Paterson was Senior Research Analyst at Impax Asset Management, where she was responsible for generating new investment ideas for environmental and sustainable equity strategies. She was also a member of the portfolio construction team for the firm’s US$12 billion Global Opportunities strategy.
