Renewable energy company Low Carbon has named Annabel Wiscarson as CEO of its Low-Carbon Investment Management (LCIM) arm. She will start in the newly created role in April, and will sit on the company’s board. Wiscarson has accumulated extensive experience working for large global investment management companies, having spent five years as Global Head of Investor Relations at Global Infrastructure Partners. She also served for more than seven years at IFM Investors, where she established and ran the firm’s Global Relationship Group in Europe. “I am delighted that Annabel has chosen to join our purpose-driven company,” said Roy Bedlow, Founder and Chief Executive of Low Carbon. “We have shown since our inception that long-term purpose drives long-term sustainable returns, however we all need to be impatient and accelerate the transition. We have the wealth of experience to match investor needs to the delivery of renewables at scale.”
