Global asset manager Nuveen has hired Sasha Miller as Head of Responsible Investment Strategy for EMEA and APAC, while Enrico Colombo joins as Senior Director of Stewardship. In the newly created role, Miller will be responsible for partnering with key business leaders to further grow the firm’s responsible investment offerings and solutions across the EMEA and APAC regions. She has nearly two decades of industry experience, and joins from Schroders where she was most recently Head of Client Proposition and Strategy. As Senior Director of Stewardship, Colombo is tasked with further enhancing Nuveen’s direct company engagement globally, as well as leading its stewardship and engagement programme and strategy. He was previously Lead Analyst for Investment Stewardship at Vanguard and has worked in the industry for almost ten years. Nuveen has a global team of over 30 responsible investment specialists and manages more than US$47 billion of assets in dedicated responsible investment and impact strategies across equities, fixed income, private capital and real assets.
